The simple Idea of Papercuts

The philosophy is simple and it combines two basic elements, functionality and cost-effective / recyclable materials. Papercuts is succeeding to evolve techniques to transform cardboard into durable objects for daily use. The design of the objects is simple, clear and focused on the ease of fitting in any decorative environment. Papercuts is produced and packaged with simple methods by using only the absolutely necessary resources.

Papadopoulos Alexandros

Alexandros Papadopoulos Founder and Head Designer, established Papercuts after defining the need for inexpensive quality objects that differ from the standard industry objects. His involvement in industrial production projects as well as manufacturing handcrafted design pieces, have been a great asset to the design of the Papercuts series. The Papercuts series, includes furniture, lighting and accessories ,that you can find on our e-shop and in design stores and showrooms.
The Papercuts idea originated in the streets of Barcelona when Alexandros was still a student. It wasn't just his aim as a young industrial designer to think "outside the box", but his whole philosophy was based on an alternative way of thinking that drove him to be inspired by the box itself. “What if the box defines the creation?” he thought, resulting in the birth of a new brand that reflected on who he is and where he stands. A brand of furniture & object designs that were manufactured by himself using non other than recycled cardboard and wood. The emergence of a sustainable brand
providing quality and comfort at an affordable rate.
